If you've been following our APRS threads lately, you know that there is a lot of interest in getting information on APRS and how to properly set up a well functioning system.

If there is enough interest, we will set up a time to meet with our APRS gurus and get the help that is needed. If you would like to attend please post up below.

Based on the locations of those who want to attend, we will try to select a location and time that works for the greatest number of people.

I've got to figure out what's up with the messaging feature, learn about OpenAPRS, and check out how to configure and load maps into AGW Tracker...

What about during the Bass Pro Shop M&G?

BPS is a possibility, but it might be a little close to Borrego Fest, especially if some of the group have bugs to work out. If there is enough consensus, it might work. I'll give this a few more days to see if there is any more interest and then start suggesting times and locations.

Ideally, a mid point for everyone would be the best. At this point, Larry is the farthest north and you and Ollie are the farthest south.

I am flexible regarding location, but would suggest we try to do this long before BPS - Oct 10 is a loooong time from now.

I would be interested to see what other setups you guys are running.

I'm running a D710 in my Xterra and D700 in the Wrangler. I know I'm not doing a lot of what these are capable of.

Put me down for it.
