When you post updates, can you add how long to the trail head from camp? Thanks.

is my 4x2 ok or no? ive been through canyon sin nombre, carizzo marsh or whatevr it is, diablo drop off, fish creek, sandstone canyon, and ocotillo wells out to the pumpkin patch with no problems...im running an ICON extended travel lift, BFG ATs, and have a nice light setup, skids too...dont mind hurting my vehicle a bit either. let me know what you think or if its too much of a libility.
if ok, please sign me up

We will be going through Diablo Dropoff and Fish Creek (as shown with the silver FJ above), so you have an idea of what that is like. The only other area you will have problems is coming back up the section in Hapaha Flats shown with the green jeep above. Plus there are some steep sections that will put a lot of strain on your vehicle if you don't have a low range transfer case. I would recommend skipping this section and just hang out at Split Rock.
The section between Split Rock and the base of Pinyon Dropoff will be optional, and anyone that does not want to do this section can take a break at Split Rock, since we will need to pass by there on the way out. This optional section should take 30-45 minutes.
Got you on the roster.

Can't wait to see the condition of that shelf. I was told by the TDS group that was out there the other night that it was one of the tougher sections now. Especially if you have a short wheel base.

Eric, you have a great run set up. It is high on my lists of favorites. Now if I can figure out how to do both this run and truck haven at the same time--rats, my clone machine is not working.
Regards, Steve

Decisions, decisions...
Actually I was looking forward to seeing Truckhaven for the first time. Oh well, maybe next time.
If you ever get that clone machine working, let me know. I need someone to go to work for me.
