POTLUCK:
Please post your savory dish that you will be bringing to the potluck and it will be added to the head of this thread, then your post will be deleted (unless it is extremely funny).

Please keep your serving sizes to about 6 people. Last year there was enough food to feed all of Camp Pendleton if we had a way to transport it there. I’m sure 12 or more will be able to sample your dish and tell you how great it is.
Hint: the more detailed you are in describing your dish, the more that others will be inspired to up their game.

START TIME: As soon as Larry finds out where we are hiding the food. Probably around dark:30. Or as soon as the first main dish comes off the grill. We would like to start eating between 6:30 and 7:00pm.

I have more firewood than I can carry. If someone from the South Bay/Culver City area will be going to Borrego Fest and will have room for firewood, let me know if you'd like to pick some up from me before the drive down. I'll be driving down Thursday, by the way.

It there's anybody from south OC (Laguna Niguel), my golf course now splits logs from trees they trim and remove, stack it in a corner of our parking lot for anyone to take (members or not!). Contact me via pm for details. Some of the wood may still be a little green, but some has been out there for a few months now. Pine and eucalyptus mostly. I'll snag what I can put up on the front section of my roof rack and bring it.
