Hi, I wheeled with a few of your guy back in January o a day trip to Anza Borrego. Ralphie turned me on to OAUSA a while back, and I have been meaning to check in.
I look forward to some more trips with you guys.

I have been following the Borrego Fest threads for a while hoping I would be able to make the trip. Unfortunately, military obligations are in the way, as they offten are... I don't think I will be able to make any overnighters till at least December. Which is fine, I have an Oil pan to replace and give me a little more time to study for the Technician test.
I picked up an HT a few weeks ago and I’m very anxious to get away from my CB for comms. I had planned on making the meet and greet and testing out that day, but work got in the way. I have some questions about my radio too, but I will post them in the communications thread.
