2010 Summer Fest Ham Radio Volunteers Needed

For the ARRL Field Day portion of Summer Fest we'll be having at least 5 HF radios stations set up. We're looking to have each of these stations up and operating for the full 24-hour event duration from saturday morning to sunday morning. Although we do have dedicated band managers for each station, we don't expect the band managers to operate solo for the whole Field Day event. we're looking for more volunteers both licensed and non-licensed people who would be able to put a little time in and rack up some points for the club. regardless if you have been a ham for 50 years or just looking to get into it, this is your chance to get on the air and really learn a lot both on the air and from the hams that will be present at the event.

Here is the list of band managers as we have it right now:
Larry - 15m
Hector - 17m
Randy - 20m
Dave - 40m
Steven - 80 / (pending 160m)

If you're willing to help out the club station and put a little time in on the radio at summer fest, please sign up in this thread.
If you re a licensed ham please list your call sign and license class. If you have a preferred band that you would like to operate please post that as well.
If you don't sign up, it doesn't rule you out of operating the radios but signing up will really help us out a lot in the final stages of planning out the radio setups.
Thanks!

Steven:

Thanks for posting up here.

In addition to the sign-ups you mentioned, we can also use volunteers for things like Generators, extension cords, additional HF radios, and antennas.

For anyone who would like to help, let us know what you can supply and we can discuss how we can work you into the event. Everyone is welcome.

I'll be starting a new thread in the next few days with a list of the things that we still need but so far we are looking pretty good.

When you get there just hit up any one of the Band Captains and let us know your experience level. We'll work you in at your pace. But, you'll be surprised, in less than an hour you'll be pulling in callsigns from all over the continent like you've done it for years.
