It's Official - I'm an ARRL Volunteer Examiner

Just got my certificate and ID card in the mail today - I'm now certified by the American Radio Relay League as an amateur radio Volunteer Examiner. :mrgreen:

That puts OAUSA one step closer to being able to administer ham radio testing sessions on our own - and that will increase the opportunities for those seeking their licenses or license upgrades to test for them among familiar faces.... ;)

Now we just need a couple more. How long did the process take?

You have to apply, and take a written test about procedural issues...open book with the info on-line...after I finished and sent in the forms / test, it took about 4-5 weeks to get the official nod...
