Route Description:
The mud cave network in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park may be one of the largest in the world. At least 22 caves have been counted, some up to 1,000 feet long and 80 feet high. Thousands of people go to Anza Borrego to explore the caves each year, even organized Boy Scout Troops. Flashlights / headlamps and old clothing needed. Some may prefer to wear coveralls. Helmets are not necessary but ceilings get low. Not recommended for those susceptible claustrophobia.

Depending on the start time, I'm in...all these years and I've never seen the caves....

Is this run going to overlap with the Coyote Canyon run? Neither run has a time listed.

More than likely they will probably run at the same time.

Just a heads up. if you plan on doing anything at the caves on Sat the 23, there is a group of 50 people going there.
