Well its that time a year again, or at least getting there. So im starting to plan out this years Toy Drive. It's our 4th year for organizing this and we usually donate to Toys 4 Tots and Spark of Love. This year we'll go ahead and rotate back to Toys 4 Tots again. I know this year has been tough for all of us with this terrible economy, but lets not make the kids suffer. Lets see if we can band together and do our part.

DATE

• December 4th, 2010. (First Weekend in December!). Not too close to Christmas and New Years and a far enough from Thanksgiving. Pencil it in now!

TIME: From 11am-2pm

LOCATION:

• Cal Poly Pomona parking lot near the corner of Temple and S. Campus. Southern part of the Campus.

WHAT IS IT?:

• So this is how it works. You bring a new unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more to the meet up. You get a raffle ticket for your contribution. We also have 3 categories you can win for prizes (See Below). Check out everyones rigs, meet new people and see some you already know. The Marines will be on site to help out and haul all the donations back to Los Alamitos. We will also be offering up free food in the way of hotdogs, chips, and sodas.

Everyone should fill up their Trasharoos with toys - from your neighbors / friends / associates - and bring them, too...

Saved the date. Thanks for the heads up! I like Larry's idea too, guess I better invest in a TrashaSantaRoo too I'll post this at work and see if I can get my First Class Petty Officer Association and Chief Mess to donate!

Great guys! Im happy your excited for this event. Hopefully this will be our biggest year yet. If we can just get one more toy more than last year it will be a success!!

What was the count last year so we know what we're shootin' for?

Shoot, i'll have to look it up.... i did a report on it last couple years on our duo site.

Over a 100 Toys for sure i know that, even in the Rain.
