The California QSO Party (CQP) is this weekend. It's the biggest QSO party in the country, and it appears all counties will be activated. It's another good opportunity to hone the HF skills as states from across the country will attempt to log all CA counties.
For California Hams this is the perfect opportunity to log some of the more difficult states and work towards your ARRL WAS (Worked all States) certificate.
I'll be competing on and off over the weekend and hope to hear you on the air. If you find a spot in the bands to park...post up the freq. here and I'll drop by for a contact....see ya'

I really need to start studying for General, and leanring HF. These QSO partys look cool.
