The topic for the November 18th net will be electrical upgrades.

We plan to discuss popular and useful upgrades such as heavy duty alternators, upgraded batteries, dual batteries, auxiliary fuse panels, Anderson power pole connectors, use of relays, selecting proper wire size, etc.

This site has 24 different electrical calculators. The most useful are the "Voltage Drop for Any Voltage" and "Maximum Length for Given Voltage Drop".

This is a boating oriented site but it contains a lot of useful information. They also offer great reference book "Living on 12 Volts with Ample Power". Its a little pricey ($29.99) but it contains a wealth of information on everything to do with 12 volt power systems.
