Wow where were you? I might question that bridge if I was driving my FJ. I think I would feel better just driving thru the river.

Yep... we spent a week down around the Osa peninsula in SW Costa Rica. More pics in a day or so...

Nice. I have Dani talked into getting a pair of bikes and heading south. With any luck, we'll be out there too this time next year.

The bridge pic is my favorite of the bunch. Early submission for January PotM?

Ok ok ok... I will start again in a more "ride report" format...

We started out with a late night flight to Miami:

Catching a little shut-eye in Miami before we board:

Making the transition from air travel to moto travel:

Finally, the bikes are packed and we are ready:

The "black beauty" would be our steed for the next week. Evan had asked us to carry the flower with us for the week so we would not forget about him... so it is present in many of our photos.

After a short ride we arrived at El Cafetal.

Before dinner we all spent a little time making final adjustments to the bikes (levers and gear organization mostly).

Then we walked the grounds a bit:

Morning light and breakfast:

Dinner preparations began in the outdoor kitchen (my crappy little camera had a had time with the light):

The result was fantastic Sea Bass plate!

Fantastic pics, the Sea Bass looks insane. So are the bikes are rentals or did I miss something?

No... you did not miss anything. We rented the bikes at a place about 40 min outside of San Jose.

On our way to the coast we stopped to look at some of the local inhabitants:

Once we arrived at the coast we walked down to the water (and back up) to check things out.

And on our way to the Quepos / Manuel Antonio area for lunch:
