Storing Your Comms Gear

I tend to suffer from a serious case of CRS (Can't Remember Stuff). I think I put something in a clever place that I won't forget it and I still can't find stuff. Anyhow.. for the sae of string stuff I found some nice cases that are fashioned after Pelican cases but for half the price. I just put this kit together for my handheld comms gear so it's all in one place for the grabbing.

Nice job, Ollie.

I had done the same thing, using a spare Pelican case. But over time, the large size of the case worked against its convenience, and I put the radios and their accessories in a backpack. While not as easy to locate small parts, it took up much less space and was easier, for me to use in the vehicle.

Looks good. If you can remember ;) , what is the name of the case maker?

I will look into it... I bought them at Willy's in National City though. They had various sizes and two colors available (black / yellow).

Hey Ollie,

Did you ever find out who made the cases?

Ive got a friend who reads these forums who hasnt signed up. He wants to know where you got the case, and what brand it is. Its a great idea for emergency kits he says!
