Hi Sean,
This is just a few miles east of lake Perris on the Ramona Expressway. I have been using this route for years to the court and never looked around. For whatever reason I took a morning off and tried to look about. What I saw was that heading north is the San Jacinto wilderness area and upland hunting. Lots of ponds with ducks and very open and beautiful. It was also quite muddy :D . I plan on spending a bit more time there. I will try to attach a map. Hope I do it correct.
