Lake Havasu Desert Storm

This weekend is the annual Lake Havasu Desert Storm poker run and shootout. There are boats here from all over the world and big bucks and HP. http://www.lakeracerllc.com/
Got a few pictures yesterday, but was looking forward to the shootout--races. Had a spot planned and since it was a short hike and off the beaten path, not too many people. The sun would have been in the right place for the morning shootout. So took a few pics yesterday messing with settings and the sun was in the wrong place, but again, no big deal as today we would get the "real pictures."
Got up early as there was to be a fly over by F-18 Hornets and then the shootout. Only one problem, the wind was howling.
Yes indeed, the fly over was axed as was the shootout. In these conditions, going 150 on the water is a recipe for disaster. I guess I should have tried to get some good shots yesterday. Oh well, a few pictures. Hope you enjoy them. I did find my next truck, though.
