Before you embark on any significant off-road adventure, it is a good idea to do a comprehensive inspection of the mechanical shape of your vehicle. This inspection goes way beyond the normal walk around you do before every off-road trip. A detailed inspection is advisable at least annually even if high gas prices will keep you doing only day trips locally.
