POTLUCK:
Please post your savory dish that you will be bringing to the potluck and it will be added to the head of this thread, then your post will be deleted (unless it is extremely funny).

Please keep your serving sizes to about 6 people. Last year there was enough food to feed all of Camp Pendleton if we had a way to transport it there. I’m sure 12 or more will be able to sample your dish and tell you how great it is.
Hint: the more detailed you are in describing your dish, the more that others will be inspired to up their game.

START TIME: As soon as Larry finds out where we are hiding the food. Probably around dark:30. At which time the appetizers and beverages will be set out followed by the main dishes. Please allow some time to pass before setting up the dessert table. Last year some people skipped the main dish and just ate the dessert part.We would like to start eating between 6:30 and 7:00pm.

I'll bring the usual, apple strudel.

One for Larry, and two more for everyone else.

Since this is my first time at BorregoFest, I'm not sure what everyone likes. I'll probably bring some (smallish) sirloin steaks to grill and maybe a desert.

I am not sure when I will arrive, as the schedule is up in the air. I am planning on the usual: Triple Chocolate Cake. Unless everyone is getting tired of it. I will try to do some sourdough bread if time and conditions permit.

It's possible that there might be a few people interested in the triple chocolate cake. Does the cook still favor red wine?

It would be best, for all concerned, if you gave me the cake when you arrive - that way we can protect the other guests from becoming bored with dessert...
