Greeting to you all:
My name is Snoopy, I heard of this site by a great friend of mine & yours. I'm a avid camper, fisherman, off roader & generally retired. Actually I have been Jeeping for over 40 years & I'm now on my second Jeep. My new Jeep is a '06 Unlimited Rubicon & in the last 2 years I have been building it up for some great wheeling. Of course I still have my other Jeep, its a '69 CJ-5 & the family uses it on some runs. Anyway, I'm planing on getting my Ham license for use off road, not to replace my CB, but be able to communicate with others when needed as you all know the CB is great for short distances but has is severely hampered for long distance use. Welcome aboard, Snoopy. Retired, eh ?? Well, based on my current income, expenses, and the state of the ecomony, I figure I should be able to comfortably retire in about 150 years or so....
