I like that. No way that was done with a 7D. I bet you got a new camera.

What settings are you using? Just a little something that makes for good reading.

The setup for those shots goes far beyond simple camera settings.
I almost took pictures of the set up, I wish I had.
Either way I'll try to explain the setup...
Canon 1d Mark IV
Canon remote shutter release
Canon 100mm macro f/2.8 L
ISO 100
Shutter speed 250 - 320
f/11 - 16
Canon 580 EX II flash
Pocket Wizard Flex TT5 remote flash trigger.
Flash set to manual.
1/32 power setting on the flash, (flash duration at that setting is about 1/40,000 of a second.
The camera is on a tripod, with the remote release.
The flash is off camera and to the side.
The flash is bounced off a piece of gift wrapping paper (thats where the color comes from)
The key to stopping the motion is the flash duration.
At full power the flash duration is too long, but at 1/32 power, it's short enough, like a strobe, to stop motion.
