For a Friday run we decided to take a trip to check out one of the largest of the mud caves in Arroyo Tapiado. It was a great time. We wanted to check out more but caves but ran out of time. We wanted to get back in time for dinner and Diana Lindsay's presentation.

Ah yes, the mud caves are always fun. Did anyone see any bats?

Not that I'm aware of. It was a prety long procession going through the cave though so the front may have.

Dan and I were the first ones in - no bats. Just a fun little jaunt out to the cave Ollie. Thanks!

No bats - in fact very little indication of anything living in the caves (no excrement, nests, etc...). They seem unusually clean for a cool, afe enclosure in the middle of the desert...maybe the recent rains washed out the evidence.
