Actually for as bad as the weather was at times, it was a great time. Got to meet Dave and Yoshi and yak at them for awhile, Thomas another trailer guy, was there and listenting to his ideas and plans was a lot of fun.

Dave, you are the best host for this type of thing. You always make everyone feel welcome, thank you for making this happen.

Larry, what can I say, I now realize that all of my trailers need to be another three foot taller, I always say you can learn from any one. I truly enjoy listening to you and your quick wit about things. My offer about the Summit is on, I promise you it is the best event in the country as far as a beautiful place, nothing even comes close. Great people and real opportunities to sell product, this year it will be nearly 70 percent new people, over two hundred new FJ people there.

Ollie, glad you were able to make it, it was great to see a Husker brother. Hope works slows down soon.

Nice to meet everyone, but my pea brain will never remember the names, but the faces should still be there the next time.

Thanks to all that looked at my trailer, made coments and gave me ideas.

I had planned on talking wth you guys about a Ham radio, but again it just did not happen. Soon as I live in a very remote area and feel I have the need for one.

Again thanks to OAUSA for the event, well ran, great people and a good breakfast at Ruby's, who could ask for more.

We have a great group of people at OAUSA - and yesterday's Meet & Greet was an perfect example of why I like being a part of this group.

The weather was a definite test of our resolve. This Meet & Greet went through many hoops just to end up on a Saturday with, let's just say, less than optimal weather conditions  - pouring rain, howling winds, and generally, cold and miserable. Yet despite Mother Nature, folks showed up, and hung out - many for the entire day. We had many awesome vehicles on display, a successful amateur radio testing session (in a make-shift pop-up enclosure with propane heaters :o ), and a lot of great conversation.

Bob, as always, its a pleasure to talk to you and check out your creation (and test out the heater in the cold!). Dave , Yosh,Thomas - good to see you again. Dave, Hector, Ollie, Michael, Ben, Jon, Jay, and many others - thanks for making set-up and tear-down as easy as it was, and just for making it fun. Tim, the triple chocolate dutch oven cake is always fantastic, but even more when that hot, freshly baked slice was in view on a rainy, cold afternoon.

congrats to our 3 new tech license holders, and our Extra license upgrade - all great accomplishments. And to all the new faces who braved the elements to join in and say hi - it was nice to meet you, and we all look forward to another event under drier conditions.

It was great meeting everybody yesterday out in the rain, it's always nice to put names to faces. The conversation was great and the dutch oven brownies were a perfect addition to the cold dreary weather. Wish I would have made it a bit earlier and been able to meet the trailer people and check out the trailers. Until next time guys, see you on the net.

It looks like it was a fun if somewhat damp event. I wish I could have made it.

Edzz,

What kind of mirrors do you have on the top of the mirror arms on your Pinz? They look very substantial. I have some aftermarket mirrors that tend to get moved out of place by wind buffeting since the new front bumper was installed. I've been looking for something better.

Bruce, the larger mirrors came with the truck, I have been unable to identify the source. You may try contacting the previous owner of my truck Joey his user name is "EwokPoacher" over on http://www.thesamba.com . The smaller convex mirror on the passenger side came from pepboys, I did have to make my own mounting clamp out of angle iron.
