This Thursday night, August 23, 2012, at 7:30pm PST, is the weekly Outdoor Adventure USA ham radio net on the Keller Repeater - 146.385+, PL 146.2. The subject this week is "Comparing Mapping Software", and all licensed amateurs are welcome to participate. You can also catch the net on Echolink, the Western Reflector and the 440mhz Palomar Repeater in San Diego.

If you have experience with any popular mapping programs - Delorme Topo, National Geographic Topo, Ozi Explorer, Topo for Ipad, Overland Navigator, or any other less well known mapping software, we would like to hear how you've used them, and what advantages you feel each program has to offer. Please join us in discussing the pros and cons of each style of program, and tips you have to offer others using the various mapping programs available to outdoor adventurers.
