Tonights topic is expedient field repair of your vehicle. If your vehicle breaks down in the outdoor, you may be facing a survival situation if you can not repair it.
We hope we have time to talk about the 10 most common break downs, tools, skills, and spare parts needed. Here is our list - somewhat anecdotal but a good start: 1) tires 2) bent tie rod 3) U-joint 4) broken axle 4) broken drive shaft 5) control arm bracket torn off 6) Torn brake line 7) radiator leak 8) broken shock mount 9) worn out tie rod end 10) Hose leak.

Tonight's new product is a camp stove, made by Stansport, that offers some very unique features, including steel diamond-plate construction, brass fuel valves, stainless steel cooking grate and burners (15,000 BTU each) and a hose and regulator. Given its construction materials, it is heavy, but apparently built to withstand some serious use (and abuse). Available at Amazon for about $116.00, see:

I'm not sure why Dave posted a stove for tonight's net, but I'm always up for food
We will try and cover some of the 11 items on Dave's list of 10

; some are much more common than others, so we'll focus more on those items.
We are counting on lots of listener participation tonight, as almost everyone has a story regarding a field incident, and what they needed to do to resolve the issue (or not, as the case may be).
So, gather together your field repair stories and fies, and tune into tonight's OAUSA Net on the Keller Repeater at 7:30pm
Talk to ya'all later

Wow, they totally ripped off Partner Steel. Not cool.

It sure looks like it. To my knowledge, Partner Steel has been on the market for many years and this is the first time I've heard of this product. It's similar but not identical.

Great net last night, good to hear that much participation. Definitely need to revisit field repairs for the rest of the topics
