Thanks for the Opportunity

Outdoor Adventure USA is a young site, with much promise and growth to look forward to.
I have the privilege of sitting on the Board of Directors; and after spending last night meeting with the other board members, hashing out what we will need to do to assist in this site's growth, I came to one obvious conclusion:
Outdoor Adventure USA has some outstanding folks at the helm.
DaveK, Ollie, Ken, Mark, Tom, Dave- it's a pleasure to discuss plans for the evolution of this site with you. Ideas flow, points of view are heard, differences discussed, and humor injected in a way that makes me feel very optimistic about what this site will become. We have varied interests, backgrounds, and beliefs, yet we have the same goal: to make Outdoor Adventure USA a great site in the eyes of it's membership.
I write this to keep those who have joined this site enthusiastic, too. The economy is tough, outdoor activities and hobbies are taking a big hit thanks, in part, to gas prices, and many of us haven't been able to "get out" as much as we'd hoped to this year. We have some events on the drawing board for this year, so I look forward to meeting/seeing many of you again then. In the meanwhile, post up stories of your past adventures and outdoor experiences - it'll help to keep us all inspired and motivated when we can't get away to hit the trail - and keep us looking forward to the events to come...
