Bruce's new rig

Well after many years of dualsporting on motorcycles in New Mexico and Colorado I finally got into 4 wheeling. I spent the last 3 years in a Hummer H2 which I enjoyed in too many ways to ever list here. Circumstances changed for me and I decided to down-size. I just got a Jeep Wrangler X Unlimited. Honestly I would have gone for a Rubicon but finances and availability issues made me decide in favor of the X. While I was a little uneasy at first, I am getting very happy with the Jeep. I am happily transfering all my stuff into it and trying to figure out where I can stuff my stuff into it. Not so easy after an H2. I have ordered a Shrokworks winch bumper and rockrails and am scouring the net for a rear bumper that will carry gas cans, highlift and tire. Building a new rig is a lot of fun. We laugh at the ladies for their shopping habits but nothing compares in shear scope to a man with a new 4 wheeler. I will post some more pics when it gets finished.

Bruce:

You have been wheelin' long enough to know that a wheelers rig is never finished. Slap some pre-dirt photos up now while you still can! That Jeep is worth showing!!!

Thanks for all your nice replies !. Think I'll wait till Shrockworks comes out with their rear bumper. I'm really happy with their "stubby" winch bumper and rails which I got from Larry at Dirty Parts. Their quality is extrordinary and the rails fully bolt to the frame rather than rely on the pinch welded body seam and bottom of the frame rail for attachment. The wait for Shrockworks gear is approx 8 weeks (it is built to order) but (in my opinion) worth it based on the product quality. Now for the lift . I will post pics as soon as I can lean on DTK for the use of his digital camera. Building a new rig is big fun :D
