You should have a great time at the Expo. One of our members recently moved into your area and has been looking to resume his outdoor activities. I know he would like to get your input on the outdoor and overlanding opportunities that exist in the South.
As a Ham, you might want to consider joining our weekly nets which we do every Thursday evening at 7:30 (PDT). If you have repeaters in your area that are IRLP equipped, we can check to see if the owners would be willing to let us connect their repeaters for the nets. Echolink is also an alternative.
