Just checking to see if anyone else is planning on going to the 8th annual Toys for Tots event put on by Dave Druck ??? It's happening this weekend (official start is Friday afternoon for those who want to camp over Fri night). You can stay the weekend, or just go for the day...of course, bring 1 or more unwrapped toys with a value of $10 or more (per person). There will be food, a raffle, and a lot of good folks to hang out with there

This year the event is being held on the Camp Pendleton Marine Base - this is an awesome venue for those who've never been.

Basic info:

SATURDAY Schedule:
Lunch Served -1PM
Raffle - 3:30PM
Sportsmobile Cocktail Hour - 6PM

Friday Gates Open at Noon
Sunday Gates CLOSE at NOON

When approaching main gate of Camp Pendleton off Interstate 5, announce you are heading to the "Toys for Toys event at Lake O'Neill"

Please make sure that you have valid identification, registration and insurance. Lastly, obey all traffic laws to the "t".

Thanks for getting the word out about this.

Family and friends have filled most of my December calendar. If things change for me, I will be there. Unfortunately, I didn't see any information from Dave about this until you posted.

I won't make it.

But I will be out hiking on Sunday!

Dave Druck posted up with Dave from American Adventurist this year and 'most' of the chatter, unofficial sign up, etc. has been over on American Adventurist this year. Not much on Portal or Mud either. I'm working in Scottsdale, AZ these days and will be over here this weekend and will miss it. To bad as the last couple have been up in Gorman. Great for Larry! Pendleton is a nice close location for me and was looking forward to it.
