It's time again for the largest annual on-the-air event in the country, the ARRL Field Day. Here is what the ARRL says:
We want to use the opportunity of this net to encourage as many people as possible to join a Field Day event, whether it is ours or another. If you are planning on attending a Field day, other than ours, please feel free to post the details of your event here on the website.

Outdoor Adventure USA has been doing a Field Day event for the last 8 years, but with a little different twist. True to our outdoor travels, we use the opportunity of summer to enjoy a three day weekend, to participate in the Field Day competition, to enjoy the cool comfort of the high mountains (7,500 feet), to camp among the pines, to enjoy great food and drink and to appreciate the camaraderie of good friends. We also offer all levels of Amateur Radio licensing. More information here: viewtopic.php?f=207&t=4041Field Day is ham radio's open house. Every June, more than 40,000 hams throughout North America set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio's science, skill and service to our communities and our nation. It combines public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach, and technical skills all in a single event. Field Day has been an annual event since 1933, and remains the most popular event in ham radio.
