SUMMER MEET & GREET - BASS PRO SHOPS - AUGUST 26, 2017
Summer is here and it's time for our annual Meet and Greet. We have selected a perfect location - the Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
The date will be August 26, 2017. We will meet for lunch at the BPS restaurant at noon, followed by Amateur Radio testing at 2:00PM. For those interested, we will be holding an informal meet and greet in the parking lot after testing. When we are not busy with lunch or testing, most of us will be hitting the store and emptying our bank accounts.
If you are not familiar with the BPS, they have one of the finest selections of outdoor gear, boats and boating gear, and, of course, firearms and related equipment. The opportunity to visit the store and stock up on stuff you need, is enough reason to join us.
IMPORTANT NOTE - If you plan on attending, we need to know so we can reserve enough space at the restaurant and for testing. Post your attendance below. The testing will take place in the parking lot. The best way to locate us is to join us for lunch or meet us at about 1:45PM at the restaurant and follow us to our location. We will also be monitoring the Keller Peak Repeater (146.385 + PL. 146.2) and simplex 145.570. You can also look for our banner in the parking lot.
