how do you move to the home page once you are in the the forums sector? Is there a link because I can't locate it.
The jump to selector does not have a home page to select?
I resort to reloading the home page from my bookmarks.
A home button in the upper right menu would come in handy, anyone agree?

Also, if you set the OAUSA style in your preferences, there is a "Home" link to the left of the "Board Index" link. (Unfortunately, each style must be programmed separately.)

That's correct. Currently, only the OAUSA style is maintained. There are seven styles available, and the OAUSA style is the default. 165 members are using the OAUSA style (they obviously didn't change the style because they liked it better than the others or didn't know they could change it), 7 using the SoftGreen style that you are using, and 5 using the remaining styles.
When making a change to the style, it is not as simple as just adjusting the HTML or CSS. There are several files involved that need to be examined to find the area that must be modified. The software we are using for the forums, phpBB, is not designed to use a main style and have other styles inherit from that. (I don't know what the developers where thinking when they omitted that functionality, but it sure makes it a pain when a modification is needed and there are several styles installed.) However, at some point I would like to add that functionality because I understand that people like different colors than others. (I have three kids and each has a different favorite color.)
There are other issues that I am tackling that will take much longer to accomplish, so I will make some modifications to the SoftGreen style for you over the next few days. It shouldn't take long, and I don't want you to have to wait until the major tasks are completed before working on this. (Weekends are tough to carve out time, but I'll see what I can do.)
If you have other issues with the navigation, let me know as soon as possible so I can make the changes at the same time that I add the home page link.

Im an advanced phpbb user (full editing capability)

There are styles that can simply be uploaded to the forum, and all that would have to be done is upload a new header pic. Ill go find some right now
EDIT: check these out. Maybe you guys can go through them and pick some out to show to the mods here, and maybe we can get someone to work on it and make it happen

Thanks, Big Dave. I'm aware that we can get more styles, but it is a matter of modifying the style to do something it doesn't do in the first place. And the problem is compounded by the fact that the same information isn't in the same file from one style to the next. I must go searching for the stuff I'm trying to modify. It would be easier if I found that the breadcrumbs for each style were in the breadcrumbs template for each style, but that isn't the case.
I was able to take some time to modify the SoftGreen style. (Hey, it's almost 1:00 a.m., everyone else is asleep so there are no distractions.

) I modified the Site Title so if you click on the title at the top you will go to the home page. I also inserted a link just before "Board Index" so the SoftGreen style will have the same link that the OAUSA style has.
Hope that works for you. Let me know if it doesn't.

Oooh softgreen is coming along NICE!!! Could you try to set the width a little less than it is now? Perhaps 80% would be sweet.
EDIT: oh, and make that sucker the default look for the forum. It looks great so far!
