Potjie pot?

I think this would be a very interesting item to try. Most of the information on Dutch oven will apply - like seasoning, after care, avoid rust, storage, keeping food hot for a long time, etc.
Because of the round bottom, it may be best suited to stews or other items that cook slow and for a long time 3-4 hours.
Coals can be placed on top so, It would be fun to try bread and see if the center of the loaf will cook through. A big round loaf of sourdough bread would be fantastic.

I had a guy in my vanpool who was a missionary in South Africa. He said that he had many meals out of a Potjie pot especially when camping in the bush. They are quite popular there.
