I got my license a few years back, and got lazy and away from ham radio.
I'm just trying to get motivated to get back into ham radio, especially with al that's going on.
I'm also looking to getting back into outdoor stuff once this virus goes away.

Hey Mike
Welcome to Outdoor Adventure USA!
If you will permit a suggestion. In June, which should be enough time for the Corona hysteria to subside, we will be holding our annual Summer Fest and Field Day event in our local Los Padres National Forest. It is a terrific way to get you "re-started" in Ham radio and get a taste of some good off-raod trails, all at the same time.
In about a month or so, we will be posting information which will give you a much better picture of what is involved. In the meantime, enjoy the nets and read about some of our previous adventures.

Hello Mike,
Great to have you come out and join us and back on the air. Stay healthy and informed, there always changes going on around us, and ham radio is a great way to know what is going on around us.
You will find a lot of information on ham radio, outdoor stuff, tips tricks, and ideas for activities. There is always something new and we invite you to give us ideas and questions you may have.
Welcome to OAUSA!
Hector

Mike,
OAUSA is a great place for getting back into radio and everything outdoors.
The COVID-19 virus as put a kink in a lot of things, but I can tell you this, the last few OAUSA weekly nets have been some of the best ever!
I hope to "meet" you one of these Thursday nights.
