Matt here W6MDE new to the forum. I’m a local Sota activator and run APRS. I frequent 146.520. I like the challenges of simplex. I also volunteer for the USFS as a Fire Lookout Host. Morton Peak is my fire tower. Look me up on YouTube: Hotfootedhiker Adventures

Thanks for having me. I have not been to Buck Rock but I’ll look into it. The San Bernardino mountains are my main hangout.

The Buck Rock fire lookout is awesome...just hope the CA wildfire season doesn't get to it (fires got close a couple of years ago).
