General Info and Sign-up - 2021 Borrego Fest
IMPORTANT NEW INFORMATION
SIGN-UPS NOW OPEN
While the panic over the covid has not entirely subsided, the lock-down has. After over a year and a half, we are now finally able to plan for our usual Fest events with as much of our normal activities as circumstances allow. So, Borrego Fest is ON!!!!
Two years ago, in October 2019, we held our last event - Borrego Fest. At that time, we managed to find an alternate location for this event, and it proved so good that we decided to do a repeat this year. The campsite is the Tamarisk Grove Campground, and you can check out the 2019 event here: viewforum.php?f=216.
Among the many advantages of this site are:
WELCOME EVERYONE!!!
It's time once again (finally) to start planning for our annual Outdoor Adventure USA Borrego Fest event. The dates are set for October 1st through October 3rd, (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for three days of camping. This is a family event that never fails to impress. Some of the activities we MAY offer are off-road trail runs, ham radio testing, a spectacular Saturday night cook-off, wine tastings, great appetizers, coffee tastings, Ham radio demonstrations, and more. Please let us know if you plan on attending. Fees and sign up info to follow.
THE COVID HAS EFFECTIVELY SHUT US DOWN FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS. As a result, we have been unable to hold any of our events, which, of course, has completely shut down our only source of revenue. OAUSA depends on the donations from this event, and Summer Fest, to help it stay in operation. Campsite fees, taxes, website expenses, and way too many related costs, all add up, and during the last two years, they have really added up!!! OAUSA is comprised of a completely volunteer, unpaid staff, and we have done our best to keep the fees reasonable, and ask that all who can, please join us for Borrego Fest 2021.
LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS
NOTE #2 We have reserved the sites as identified above, and for these sites, they are first come, first served.
