Welcome to the August 19, 2021 Outdoor Adventure USA (OAUSA) net! The subject of tonight's net is:

Outdoor Trivia

The plan is to use both well known and lesser known trivia about outdoor subjects to spur discussion about our outdoor passions. The way to get the most from this net will be to Key in and contribute answers and/or discussion to the topic!

General Format for the OAUSA Outdoor Trivia Net

1. Trivia Question Posed by Net Control
2. If you know the answer, use this format: Call Sign and Answer
3. Trivia Question Answer Revealed (Pat yourself on the back if you got it right)
4. Discussion relative to the Trivia Question. To get in on the discussion, Last letters of your Call.
5. Repeat

Check in please - Thanks - Will be listening with my cell phone, but won't be participating in or during the net, as will be at a Fair, so too noisy probably, and might not hear too much during the first 20 or so minutes, as there'll be noise from fireworks at that time.

I'd like to contribute, but I'll be going to a Fair in another town about 15 Miles away from here tomorrow the 19th, and will be starting to watch fireworks at the start of the net, and probably won't get back home until after then net is over with.

I could've looked up a few things, and could've had fun with it, but oh well.

There's also a concert here tomorrow also, in the city park, but if I go to that, then I won't be at the Fair, and wouldn't see the fireworks, which I've never seen there before, so am curious to see them tomorrow, and I don't think that I'd be interested in the type of music that the concert would have, and I mainly go to that sort of thing to take video of part of it, and he probably wouldn't allow me to do that anyway, even though I've been able to do that at a few concerts recently, and have shared them on Facebook.

I plan upon taking a video of the fireworks tomorrow.

Anyway, sorry, I won't be here tomorrow to participate in the net...but I could check in and listen to the net with the Android phone Echolink APP.

I could check in, and listen, with my Android phone, but then I won't have any trivia for the net, and actually the fireworks is supposed to start right when the net starts...so I may not hear too much of the net anyway...at least for maybe the first 20 or 30 Minutes or so anyway...then I could listen to the rest of the net on the way home.

BTW...my brother passed away last Sunday afternoon.

Join us tomorrow, if you can, but don't feel bad if you are enjoying the fireworks and music. We will do this net again in the future, if it is a hit!

I'm left to assume that with the silhouette of a Jeep, it may have something to do with opening up trails. Maybe you can shed some light on his rear window stickers.
