Well I just got home from another great run! Ollie, John Galt and I met this morning at the ass crack of dawn and ran a portion of the Otay trail system. The trail is pretty mellow but the views are fantastic, especially when alot of the horizon is veiled in fog.
After that we met up with the rest of the crew at the Pio Pico, Thousand Trails campground and aired down (again). I've run Carveacre quite a few times and it's always a great distraction for a weekend afternoon. It's offers just the right combination of challenge and duration for a Sunday afternoon. We did the ceremonious "lunch on the rock" and then headed down to the lower plateau, also known as little Moab. I proceded to abuse the rig a little and had fun while doing so.

All in all, it was a great run. Nothing broken and got to meet some new fellow enthusiasts as well as see a few familiar faces.

Yeah, I'm sure Zeus and Zoey missed not being able to terrorize the lunch break, running around with your short legged dogs

Next time for sure

I too am upset I did not head out I found out I was already committed else where this afternoon. All day long I was reminding myself that I could still join you guys. I need six months of summer. Oh wait we live in SD it is summer all year long. Glad there was no damage and you all had fun.

I had a great tme today. First ime on that trail that someone didn't break somethin (other than Fun Junkie's CB antenna). Good times and good company.

Sorry I had to bail so quickly. Normally I'm the air supply for everyone but Ihad to get JG and his son back to their FJ. was airing up at Pio Pco and a guy aske if I would go into the campground and help him out. evidently hehad had a flat and no copressors or filling stations could take hm up to the 110lb of pressue he needed. I ended up airing p all for ofhi tires on his fifth wheel. Momma was none too happy when I didn't get home until 5:30.

I didn't get a lot of pics but I did get some. I'll get them posed up later.

Had a great time on Carveacre today. It was my first time up there. This trail definitely demands your full attention, but is a lot of fun and the view from pancake rock at lunch time was awesome. Got to meet some folks I hadn't wheeled with yet, and see some familiar faces I hadn't seen in awhile. All in all, a good day of wheeling!
