Jerry:
Nice. I just got a X 4 door. We should swap ideas as we build. This is my 1st Jeep. With some deligence I'm finding the stuff I need. I did the radio/antenna mounts similar to what you've done with an 8800 for the radio and a CB mounted on the right hand side of the center console. I have a Shrockworks stubby winch bumper and rock rails on order. I added a Rancho oil pan protector and a Kilby evap slider. I can't afford to do a lift and 35's right now so I had to settle for a set of 31" BFG AT's. Have fun with your rig.

Hey Jerry,
I think I can see my teapot in your picture of TeaKetle Juction. When was that picture taken? Can you zoom in near that yellow one?
I am going to Death Valley again in 2 weeks. I have another pot just waiting to go!

Yep -that yellow one is the one we left in October 2007.
This picture was take by my friend "Lion" who died of a heart attack in Feb 2008. He had not planned to attend this run to Death Valley but I broke a front coil spring and he drove all night to bring a new one from 4 Wheel Parts in Compton. Truely a good friend.
I have left other tea pots but the Park Service removes most of them. I wonder how long they leave them and how they decide which ones to leave. At least I know it was there in Jan!

Jerry:
Thanx for the info. I'm in Torrance. If you would like to take measurements of my evap slider you are welcome. I will be doing a 3" lift as I have found that the 4door has some serious clearance issues due to wheel base (Brakeover). Will be keeping the 31's for a while. Will wait till the shrockworks stuff comes to evaluate the height with the added weight.
