Looking for a new career...

Hello all my off-roading friends. I am currently looking for a career change due to a recent lay-off, and thought I would post up here where my interests lie. I have been in the service side of the automotive industry for the past 15 years working as a highly awarded service advisor for a busy Ford dealership, as a manager and district manager for quick lube facilities, and most recently a service advisor at a high end boat dealership.

I also have a ton of sales experience. All through my career I have been selling....from preventive maintenance to major repairs. I also sold high end powerboats for 2 years and was very successful at it.

That being said...I am looking for a sales position. I would like to try something different than what I have been doing. I am sure many of my skills would easily transfer over to another field.

If you have any job leads, or are aware of any that may work for me..please let me know. I also have a current resume for those interested.

Thank you for your time.

I'll keep my eyes and ears open for you Mark. I suggest since you are located in Santee that it may be helpful to let others know if you are willing to relocate. Good luck.

From Santee to... Kearny Mesa ;) No one in their right mind would leave San Diego.

I'll check the postings at my company. We were hiring earlier this year, but not sure about sales... :?

I beg to differ... If I weren't married to a SoCal girl I would be dust in the wind leaving this forsaken place.

I will check my company too Marc. ;)

Thanks guys...the easiest reloaction would be to the LA area. Preferably north of LA, like Burbank or somewhere in the valley.

That is great news Marc, is this dealer in the Santee area? I suggest you post up some of the new TSB's, that might bring in a few folks.
