They must be a from a link I brought through? I add emoticons from some obcure sites and I'll bet the link changed. That was the cool people doing the wave .

That's called hot linking and is generally a bad idea. Whomever owns the site the image is linked from can change it to whatever they wish at any time and cause you problems, the least of which is a harmless image. I recommend re-hosting your favorite emoticons or whatever before you link to them anywhere.
