Mojave Winterfest Dates Poll

This January we have the following weekend dates to choose from: I chose Friday, Sat. Sunday because most choose to take off Friday instead of Monday however since MLKJ's birthday is observed on the 3rd Monday of every January we may choose to use a Sat, Sun, Monday format for the 3rd weekend of the month? Please choose one date or PM me for other suggestions.

I voted for 9-10-11 because there is a full moon on the 11th. It should be a nice bright weekend.

I did the same, although I should have the whole month free, like full moon camping. I can be flexible if another date is ends up being more popular.

I vote for 17th, 18th and 19th.
If it ends up being 9, 10, 11, I can go then, too.

I had voted for MLKJ weekend but due unavoidable work commitments I don't expect to be able to take any leave until as late as January 20th.
I change my vote the last weekend of January or sometime in February.

The BOD have a meeting next week on the 18th and how to handle this event or if this is something to consider as a fest event is going to be someting that will be tabled at that time. We will post up after the meeting how to approach this Mojave Preserve Run. I am not saying the run isn't going to happen just that it may not be held under the premise of a fest event. So this poll for dates is still valid. Please stay tuned...

My observation is that the 9-10-11 weekend is at the end of CES Weekend in Vegas. Nice two-fer for those going. Living in Vegas does not help much - I just end up being designated taxi for trade show out-of-town friends. Hopefully my clients will be long on their way back home by Friday night
Have we got a date for this event? I noticed the discussion seems to have died off.

Well, hopefully it'll pick back up as we get closer to january. Looks like there's still a few details to be worked out. If this turnes out to be a friday-sunday run, I'd consider getting a room somewhere around Laughlin thursday night.
