I apollogise because this isn't a OAUSA sponsored event but I don't know the proper place to put it.
All are invited to the SoCal Christmas meet and eat on December 20. We will have a lunchtime get together and a trail run afterward. We will also be collecting toys for the toys for tots. Please keep in mind not all kids are very young, I have done toys for tots for years and the biggest deficiency of toys is for the younger teen age kids. We can make a dent in this and have a good time together. here are the specifics for the event as they are still getting nailed down.

"The room is reserved from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. I don't think we need the full 5 hours so let's nail down a time so we can plan around it. I'm thinking 11:00 to 2:00 would be plenty of time and it would give us time to make a run after. We could also do the opposite and go 12 or 1 to 4:00 and do a run prior.

Since we are taking donations for Toys for Tots, we are asking that everyone attending brings a NEW, UNOPENED and UNWRAPPED toy, book or game valued at $10 or more.

If anything changes I will update this post, and please RSVP on this link. Also remember that even though you don't see a large group of commitment yet, most of our meet n eats always seem like that till the last minute then a ton of folks commit to it.

Sorry I forgot to post the date, DEC 20. Please come out and have a good time with a great group of folks and do good for those less fortunate than us. I know some folks have a group affiliation mentality but it shouldnt be that way. We all enjoy the same recreation and to clique up is really not helping our cause. undoubtedly there are some who think that way but mabey you can change it by showing and having a conversation. It's all good, I just wanted to make sure all knew they are welcome to join. I wish it was a different day, i'd run AB with ya.

I'm not gonna post for sures and mabeys as there were only a couple mabeys and we'd like them to have a seat if they show, Also if you are a definite NO or you are planning on bringing guests and dont see a plus after your name, please post up. again it will be nice if nobody has to sit on the floor.
