This trail got recently put together and I have been dying to try it out. So today the fellow that surveyed and staked out the trail showed us his creation, had a wonderfull time running this trail. Very nice and varied challenges

Looks really great. Where can I find the details of the trails? GPS waypoints? Bread crumb? I would like to try it sometime in January.

I'm curious about these new trails, did some new land open up that was previously closed?

It's not a new area, It is in the cougar buttes area of Johnson valley, which is an open ohv area somebody by the name of Mike took a lot of time to survey and stake out a nice challenging trail. It's pretty tough but doable a very good wheeler in a Jeep tj with open diffs did the whole thing. Sheetmetal damage is likely though on anything bigger. They ran some xj's and toyotas through there tham made it but they struggled. I can post when they do another run, for gps files you might want to look on the xj naxja forum. A group of them did a lot of gps recording.
Here area couple of links to the pictures that the guy took that put this trail together

Cool, looking forward to pictures of a FJ tackling this trail, will take some pretty good driving.
But then that is partially what it's about isn't it to challenge yourself a little every so often
