Sweet! That means I can head up this hill just out from split mountain and try those trails we did on our prerun.

Re: 2008-12-20: "Momollie" Anza Borrego Tour
Are these areas all doable with a 3" tires and 285`s? I don`t have any skids yet. I`m one of the "Northern So Cals " and I haven`t had a chance to go to Anza Borrego yet. I don`t know how to get to the meeting area yet. According to map quest its about a 200 mile drive to get there is that right??Ollie (K6JYB) wrote:Canyon Sin Nombre - Arroyo Tapiado (Mud Caves)- Arroyo Seco Del Diablo - Fish Creek - Split Mountain - then across to Painted Gorge.

The meeting place will be Dudley's Bakery in Santa Ysabel. My friend with the Samurai can't make it so the loop won't be necessary. A stock FJ can do any of the trails we'll be encountering. I will be updating the first post with our final route, meeting place, and comms tonight. I'm going back to the first post now to edit with the planned agenda.Sanderhawk wrote:Are these areas all doable with a 3" tires and 285`s? I don`t have any skids yet. I want to start earlier but getting my son and Frogeye moving any earlier than that could make for a bad day...BorregoWrangler wrote:Lookin' good, Ollie!Ollie (K6JYB) wrote:Updated the first post with the itinerary.

Hey it's hard to wake at 6am when you went to sleep at 2am.
I'm looking forward to this run.
