Hidden Gold Of Bicuner-Desert Magazine 1955

This story happened in Potholes near yuma. Here is a link with some photos of me prospecting for and finding gold in the exact same location as the Indians and spaniards in this story. I have seen and walked into the holes and shafts that they dug. This area has an amazing history... http://www ...

Mystery Death In The Dunes- Desert Magazine 1949

I may have 50-100 stories like this. I don't know if this is the appropriate area to post these. If there is a more appropriate area feel free to move this thread and I will place any future threads there... I scanned these pages and turned them into a PDF file. Prospecting Trailer Build

I was given a basket case of a trailer and turned it into something that I could use on extended prospecting trips. At a cost of only a few hundred dollars out of pocket it was way cheeper than buying something plus it fit my needs perfectly. It is big enough to hold all of my stuff but small enough ...

New Member- San Diego, CA.

Hello All, On the morning of Friday the 28th of Jan I was just driving to work minding my own business and talking with a friend of mine about APRS on the 2 meter Sandra Otay repeater when one of your members (Willie I believe) jumped in to say hello and answer some questions. He was very helpful ...
