Hey all, I recently installed a Yaesu FT-8800 in my 2011 Tacoma. So far I have been using a MFJ mag mount antenna, but am getting tired of putting it up and taking it down when I park in the garage. I have some thoughts on istalling an antenna, but thought I'd throw out a request for installation ...

That is an insanely tight turn for a full size vehicle. The first time I drove it was in my old 2000 F150 X-cab. A little to tight for what I cared for, because it's nothing but down out your driver's side window.

Thanks, not sure about going Extra at the moment, but I do want to come to the Bass Pro shop. I have a buddy who is studying for his tech I want to bring along.

Wow, thank you very much. I will make every effort to catch the net on Thursdays. Currently I only have a Yaesu VX-6R, but recently got a new Tacoma. My intent is to put in either a 7800 or a 7900 real soon.
