Nice playtime in the northern part of Anza Borrego

Post by aw12345 » Tue Jan 27, 2009 5:43 am

The three of us met up with a 4 wheeler buddy out in Anza who showed us around in the Northern part of Anza Borrego, he had some nice rocks and challenges scoped out for us, one of them turned in to a major road building project that we unfortunately did not finish or conquer, but we gave it a good effort. All in all we had a great time even though the Jeeps took a bit of a beating

So with no further a do here is a link to the pictures I took

Well, according to the map that is on the photo album page, it is a bit to the West of UCC.

The point on the map is an estimation it's several miles south off the little town of Anza you enter the Anza Borrego area on a rough dirt road from there another couple of miles of trails we actually did 2 trails The tougher one ended pretty much in a box canyon, a tree blockked the trail and after that it got tigher and tighter so we figured it was either hike to the end of the trail to see how much further we could go or turn around after that we ran a trail headed east. If you want more info
Look on myjeeprocks.com. The guy that led the run could give you better directions, or show you around he has hiked and wheeled all over that area

Yep that's it. The other one with the dry waterfall is in White Wash. We gotta get out there again.
