Timing is everything, they say... ;)
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear really bright, until they start talking

I had a fun weekend up in Calico. It was a pretty mild weekend as far as the off roading goes. Decided to keep it a little low key since the funds are low and wouldn't want to have to fix anything right now.
I was out there the same day. I think I saw your group.

Here I am (photo by Tom, KN6KS):

I shoot with a Nikon D200 with an attached GPS (Geomet'r GPS Receiver).

With the attached GPS, all photos are geotagged while taking the photo. The GPS information is added into the EXIF photo data. The camera itself does not make the coordinates visible within the photo.

I use Robogeo to upload my photos to Flickr since Robogeo automates the the process of reading the EXIF GPS coordinates and exporting them to Flickr so a "Map" button appears where the photo is displayed in Flickr. See this Photo, look in the bottom right of the page and there is a "Map" link.

Adding the coordinates into the photo was an accident. That was an option I selected in Robogeo the last time I uploaded into Flickr. Normally, I don't want it visable in the photo since I know the data is already embedded in the photo EXIF information.

Actually it's cool that you did. I wish more folks had this capability as it makes it nice and easy to find the cool stuff you see in pictures!
