Cleghorn this Sunday

Post by aw12345 » Sun Mar 08, 2009 11:41 pm

Well I finished repairing a friend's Jeep and since his wife let him leave the house today we decided it would be nice to enjoy some trail running.

Since Cleghorn is only 30 minutes away that was the choice for the day

We started with the 3 of us and joined up with a couple of others down the trail

because of this we ran the hardest part of the trail twice and once in the other direction good times

The others dragged a 3 month old Hummer 3 along that gpt kinda banged up

Oh well he should have bought the Rubicon he wanted initially. For the most part he did pretty good though. The rest of the story is here

Nice! Looks like everyone had fun out there. I've only been up there once. Gotta do it again!

You bet almost any weekend is good. If you are up for some serious wheeling and spend the weekend in the area we can do a second day run on Bullfrog you'll have fun on that one. Cleghorn has gotten a little tougher but is still a fairly easy fun trail

Hey, I'll have to keep that in mind! Although, I've seen your reports from Bullfrog. I'd probably have the least capable Jeep there!

Well Bullfrog has been run with open diffs on 33' and very few have made it on 31's. I ran it on 32's with lockers and it was not to hard. A capable wheeler should be able to make it
