Greetings from Pasadena!

Post by Nadir_E » Mon Apr 20, 2009 9:03 am

Hi All,
Found this board through a link on the Expedition Portal board and decided to join up!

I'm a former XJ owner, a former CJ7 owner, and a current Defender 90 owner. Not hitting the trails as much as I used to, but hoping to change that in the coming summer. Making plans for a camping/surfing/wheeling trip to central Baja later this year.

Edited to add - I also do a fair amount of orienteering if any of you are into that.

Wishing you all good times on the trail!

Thanks, Craig! I plan to be at the HAM test in hopes of qualifying for a Technician license. Scoring in the 85-95% range on the free on-line tests so far...

My Defender is a '94 soft-top. It's had a moderate number of modifications made - OME springs, Safari Gard bumper and tire carrier, Rockware suspension upgrades to allow for long-travel shocks, things like that. I'm about to get a Safety Devices roof rack for it - should be here this week. If all goes well on Saturday, I should be adding a 2m radio in the summer! :)

Beautiful truck!

Welcome. I'm also in Pasadena.

I don't believe I've seen your D90 around town. I couldn't forget such a nice rig.
