Checking in!

Post by GearType » Sun Apr 26, 2009 4:56 pm

Hello everyone. Great site. I have been meaning to sign up here for awhile. I have only been out once with a few of you on the Momollie AB Tour which was a lot of fun. Hopefully I will get out with you guys again sometime.

Cheers,
Rodney

Thanks guys. That's right Craig, I had the Sandstorm and was there with my wife. We had such a great time that day. Since then, the suspension lift went on along with a change to the tires, hi-lift, HAM radio license/equipment, and even designing my own part for the front bumper that has been really successful. It's been a lot of fun and I really love our FJ. It has opened up a lot of new exploration.

I appreciate the welcome!

Hey Rodney,

It's about time you got over here. Great to have you aboard. :) I look forward to hitting the trails with you again sometime soon. Did you ever find that campground the other night? :?

What's up Ollie. Yeah thanks again for the help the other night. We figured out where it was but we just ended up going home. My friend had work at 8am the next morning, so we probably only would have had a few hours to hang out by the time we got back there.

When I got home I checked the maps again and came to find out that we were literally only a few minutes drive away from the site at the point that we turned around. Oops! :D Next time I have to do a better job with my maps. I had cut off a bit too much on the top of my satellite map which was causing us to mistake one section for another. Live and learn.
