Cleghorn quicky

Post by aw12345 » Mon May 25, 2009 10:37 pm

lWell the 2 of us waited till about 20 after 5 and nobody else showed up so the 2 of us tackled trail in short order. Was a beautifull afternoon/ early evening
not a soul in sight and nice cool weather.
It's one of the reasons I like late afternoon early evening runs, you get pretty much the whole place to yourself. After about an hour we took a 30 min break, after which we finished the trail. We got done with daylight to spare, all in all a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours in the outdoors
Here is a nice shot of Barney in action

I ran Cleghorn yesterday morning with bruisedfj, and my friend Branden. The weather was beautiful, and pretty quiet considering it was a holiday. we saw only a few people all day. I love this trail, I am amazed how much it changes everytime I run it, I was there in March and some sections have become much more difficult.

It's always fun to run Cleghorn, it's nearby and not to challengin I think the total time to run it end to end was probably 2 hours at the most if that. Is one of the things I like it makes for a quick wheeling fix. By now I have ran it at 4 am, during the day and probably pretty much any hour in the evening and night. I always come back energized from it

My son and I just ran Cleghorn Monday about 7 am. Not a soul in site. We were there about 3 hours and did a few of the side challenges both directions . It was cloudy and cool at the 15fwy but blue sky and starting to get hot at the top. had a real good time. We stopped at Bass Pro Shops on the way home because you just have too. Have a good day all.
